Our current and planned initiatives

FIO 2024

Thanks to funding from the Civic Initiatives Fund, we opened a sword and buckler section that operates to this day. An event called "8-bit Fencing" allowed many people – students, high school students, and adults – to try their skills in fencing and understand its historical significance, especially from a Polish perspective.

Śląska karuzela

A television program produced for TVS. In a series of episodes dedicated to historical fencing, hosted by Sławomir and Kajra, three parts were created and are available on YouTube.

Fencing Circle

An event organized in cooperation with TAURON Park Śląski. The tournament attracted competitors from 11 clubs, including Warsaw, Wrocław, Bielsko-Biała and Cieszyn. The event featured 68 competitors and many spectators. In addition to historical fencing, Olympic fencing, kendo and budo (bloss) were also presented.

FOP

Festival of Non-Governmental Organizations. Together with many other organizations, we presented our association in the heart of Katowice – on the town square, promoting the art of fencing.
